🏡 For the whole household

The chore tracker your family will actually use

Don't schedule the dishes for 4pm. ZenChores tracks how long it's been since each chore was last done and bubbles up what's most overdue — for every person in the house.

No spreadsheets, no calendar slots, no 4pm laundry alerts.

1
Add your household

Add your partner, kids, or whoever shares the load. Each member gets their own profile, emoji, and colour.

2
Say how often, not when

Tell us how often each chore needs doing — every couple of days, weekly, monthly. No time slots required.

3
Let the queue sort itself

Each person sees their own list. Most overdue floats to the top. Tap done and it drops back.

Three ways to split a chore

Pick the mode that fits each chore — switch any time.

👥
Everyone

Each person does their own copy. Brush teeth, make the bed, pack the school bag. Stays on every member's queue until they each tick it off.

🙋
Anyone

First person free picks it up. Take out the bins, empty the dishwasher. One member ticks it off and it's done for the whole house — and they get a 🍪 for the effort.

🔄
Cycling

Takes turns between members in the order you set. After someone completes it, it lands on the next person's queue.

Every mode works for recurring chores and one-off tasks.

Built around people, not rooms

Tody is great if one person cleans the house room by room. Families with kids, pets, bills, and a garden need something that thinks in people, not floor plans.

📋
One queue for the whole house

Bills, school runs, the cat, the garden — every chore lives in one prioritised queue per person.

👥
"Everyone" actually works

Some chores are a copy per person — brush teeth, make the bed, pack the school bag. ZenChores tracks each member's copy separately. Tody can't.

🙋
Per-person urgency

A room doesn't have urgency — a person does. Each member sees what's most overdue for them.

Built for how households actually work

You tell us how often. We track how long. The queue sorts itself.

📱
Every device, in sync

Phone, tablet, kitchen iPad, work laptop — runs in any browser today, your queue follows you everywhere and refreshes within seconds. Native iOS and Android apps coming soon.

😴
Snooze when life happens

Not today? Snooze a chore forward by a sensible chunk of its cycle, or pick a custom date.

Quick to log, easy to backdate

Mark a chore done today, or pick the day you actually did it. Either way, urgency resets and the chore drops back down the queue.

📜
Full history, no arguments

Every completion is logged with who did it and when. Settle the "I did that yesterday!" debate with a glance at the chore's history.

🍪
Cookies for stepping up

Finish an Anyone chore and you collect a cookie — a quiet little reward for being the one who actually did it.

Common questions

Is ZenChores free?

Yes — you can sign up and run your household on ZenChores for free.

How does ZenChores decide what's most urgent?

You tell us two things per chore: how often you'd like it done, and when it was last done. The longer it's been since last time, the higher it climbs the queue. Tap done and it drops back.

Will it remind us?

On Premium, yes. You can opt in to a daily push notification for any household member at a time of day that suits — a quiet nudge with what's at the top of their queue. Other adults logged in to your household can set up their own reminders too.

Do I need to install an app?

Use it in any browser today. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon if you'd rather have an icon on your home screen.

Can I track chores for my kids?

Yes. You can add anyone in your household as a member — partner, roommate, or your own kids — and assign chores to them. Their chores appear in your household queues just like everyone else's. The ZenChores account itself is for adults: you must be 18 or older to create one.
